BIG KUDOS...

I had the pleasure of attending the monthly meeting of H.A.R.P. of Philadelphia last night which featured a masterclass conducted by Seth Holtzman, a Philadelphia area harp master.  For over two hours we tore apart some of Little Walters' songs, demystifying some of the magic (which had the net result making me even MORE in awe of Little Walter), sharing techniques from some of the other uber talented attendees...including local harp legends Emile Damico and Slim Bob, amongst others...and simply enjoying being around other harp enthusiasts.  Seth is not only a wonderful instructor and player, but his depth of knowledge about blue harpists history and lore is remarkable.  

This  email is simply to give all respects to a very talented perfomer & teacher and to say thank you to the leadership of H.A.R.P...Mike and Fred (please forgive me if I missed anyone)...for setting it up!
