Re: [Harp-L] Mexican Shure 520D

Sounds to me like you don't really feel like this is a HOT mic.

Bullet mics have to be HOT ---- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I think your instincts are telling you the right message.

But what the heck do I know?

I'm looking at buy a MIM 520D Green Bullet, the model with the silver label. I got a chance to play through it today and although I really dug the tone, the output seemed kind of low... I really don't know much about dual impedance mics and I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on whether this is the issue or could it be something else...? Thanks!

Scott
