All of our tunesÂhit on the 2 & 4, only 1 is a staright 4 onÂthe floor R&R song. 

The drummer plays 8's on the ride cymbal. You can always play between a shuffle 

and a swing.Â We call these "swiffles".Â Have him try some rhumbas or 2-beats 

to move away from the 1&3.
