I am writing to thank all those that responded to me about how to 
determine how sharps were applied to scales.

I am amazed at the generous help that has been offered and which has 
been an enormous help in understanding this matter this message board is 
really outstanding in helping.

If I missed replying to anyone that emailed me I apologies but I tried 
hard not to miss anyone that responded.
