[Harp-L] was phaser, now amplified tone



Per Mr. Ruth: "By the way- When I heard Billy Branch the other night his

Saw a great You Tube video of Howlin Wolf on British televison.  Now it was
'64 so he had to be using a tube P.A. but he was playing acoustic with the
mic about a foot aaway, singing and playing harp in the same mic. The sound
was soooo heavy, dark and menacing. When I keep a tight cup on the mic, run
it through a distorted tube amp, and do my best, I can't get a sound like
that. The harp doesn't even sound like an instrument it's a force of nature.
And of course the voice...
