RE: [Harp-L] RE: Heating Pads for Chromatic

The proof of the pudding. The gel hand-warmers give out a gentle warmth and one of them, wrapped up warm with a chrom, has just the right amount of warming power to get the harp working beautifully. Overheating just does not happen, and the effect will last for hours if you keep the harp and gel pack wrapped up together in something insulating when the harp is not in use. Not for every circumstance, but for the player with just one or two chroms that come out occasionally they are ideal. Lightweight, compact and nothing to plug in.
