Re: [Harp-L] Steve Martin
I had the pleasure of playing harmonica with Steve Martin at the Mark Twain
Awards at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC 2 yrs ago.
Steve was a lot of fun to work with and he reallly loves to jam on the
bluegrass & country stuff......a very special, and talented man!
that same night I had HONOR the of playing a song, "I Love to See You Smile"
with Randy Newman. You may be able to catch this on PBS from time to time
when they run it. The Mark Twain Awards honoring Steve Martin.
all the best,

Steve Martin, yes that Steve Martin, has a super great record out. It is
mostly instrumental banjo. There is only one funny song so it is a pretty
serious collection of music with some fine playing and song writing. There
is also harmonica in the bluegrass setting. I got the album of i-tunes so I
do not have the liner notes to see who the player is.
