Re: [Harp-L] Is there an alternative to a Kinder AFB+?

I would first recommend against using any boost pedal if feedback is a
problem. That will just make the problem much worse.

Make sure you have the FAT switch turned off. Roll off the highs and mids.
Try different placements on stage, relative to where you are.

You may also try putting a microphone in front of the BJr and supporting it
through the PA sound system, using the Blues Junior as a monitor. That
is the way I prefer to gig with my 10-watt 5F2H amp.

At the Blues Harp Amps blog I tested and reviewed the Sabine FBX Solo 620-SL
Feedback Exterminator<http://bluesharpamps.blogspot.com/2008/05/sabine-solo-620-sl-feedback.html>
and
found it to be a less than suitable solution to harp amp feedback.
Any electronic feedback solution must by its very nature alter your tone.
It is up to you to determine if it is a good trade-off.

I hope this is helpful.
