Re: [Harp-L] Amp Over Kill

Hello,

I have had the Sonny Jr e. (Great Amp) and a vintage Ampeg that was
sweet, however they are in the past. I am trying to find a compromise
of smaller amp, with the Lina-out capabilities. I currently have an
awesome '58 Fender Tweed Champ Amp that is absolutely sweet. The
problem is it has no line out and I live on a sailboat. I don't want
to worry about a sweet vintage amp on a boat. Additionally, that is
why the line-out is appealing to me. I did have a band where we were
playing in larger venues however I want to so smaller gigs. So big is
no big thing. It is the line out that I like.

I was able to use Pierres Cruncher, awesome amp, Pierre sounds Fantastic as usuall threw her, me totaly different. I have a 30 watt meteor as well as a 50 watt. I personally like the Meteors. The Minis have a line out as well, also the amp sounds great at a low volume for smaller rooms. I believe Richard Hunter make some great points on the Amp issues. Everyone pretty much has there own unique sound and sound different even using someone elses gear. So i suggest (if possible) to try the Amps before you make any decisions!!!! Johnny
