Another problem in 2d position is that one absolutely MUST avoid 7D  
(major third).  No bands i play with ever play any tune just like the  
record, so there's inevitably more improv and more soloing, and it's  
not always easy for me to assiduously avoid that note wandering  
around on the high end at a decent tempo.
