No matter how good the player is, there are some things that can only  
be done lip pursing and there are some things that can only be done  
tongue blocking.  That is reality.  IMHO, whichever technique is used  
predominantly may be a matter of preference on the part of the  
particular player, but  any  truly competent player must be able to  
do at least some of both.
