Throttle back and lighten up Tiger. Mr. Musselwhite is a wonderful human being. In this, it is obvious by your vehemence and passionate knee-jerk defense that we are in agreement?

He is also a friendly and accessable person who was gracious enough to invite me into his home. During our brief interaction it became apparent to me that he is also a person who is at ease with both friendly sarcasm as well as mild banter. After all, isn't give and take an essential part of the dynamic and interplay 'twixt musicians (either when playing or conversing)?

I don't post much on this List.ÂÂMostly because I am relegated to digest mode by virtue of my travelling and work circumstances. But, equally because I am by nature a crass, boorish, unsophisticated knuckle-dragger who would much rather be sarcastic or kick somebody's ass than tiptoe around the protocols and nuance of social correctness. My style does not translate well to the written word. And, you should also be aware (as if i really need to defend myself to you, Bernie) that I am a computer neanderthal who can easily hit reply and n
ot realize he has sent something to an entire List instead of the intended single recipient.

In my years, I have been very fortunate to have met and become friendly with many of my harmonica heroes. The list is impressive to me when I actually look at it compiled. I am in love with the harmonica and all things and persons related to same. I am also a damn fine judge of character. I am also fiercely loyal. It appears that you and I share this trait as well. If I meet someone and they strike me as genuine, they become my friend for life, this loyalty only flags when they choose to alter the relationship. 

So, why doÂI feel compelled to respond to your zesty little explosion? Because, in this instance, it is more theraputic than booking a flight to confront you in person. Perhaps, after all these years, I am finally growing up.
