I'm just beginning to explore harp in a rack, I mean just barely..... But, I don't see much to get excited about in Tift Merrit's harp playing... Much like Kris Kristofferson. Seems like some discord there to me, but then I have a tin ear.  
However, I do like Tift Merritt and had her on my radar probably 5 years ago. We will  surely hear more from her.
