RE: [Harp-L] harmonica in B
As fate would have it, one of these recently became mine--
A Hering 5148 with the slide reversed--
I received it as payment for repairs, and have a gig tonight with some guys
who tune their guitars down a half step--it is as if the Fates were
listening.
I had to lower blow hole 4 of course (bebop tuning--try it!), but it's ready
for action--I reversed the slide, so now it plays a half step lower like the
chroms I am used to playing.
Irish tuning is another can of worms that I can't afford to get distracted
by right now, any more than I can learn diminished tuning (or Swahili).
