Re: Effects was Re: [Harp-L] Jason's organ

Chris M has a lot to offer. Don't take his absolute comments too much to heart. It's just his unique way of communicating his passion.

buddha sez "nobody can deny the power of using real pedals"

Real Pedals? As opposed to what?

Effects processing is effects processing, whether its a single pedal or a
multi pedal. What makes one circuit real and the other not? Many people
might argue both are synthetic.

I do admire the tone Jason Ricci gets with his elaborate pedal board, and
also Richard Hunter's with his Digitech devices. I also lust after the tone
others get with only a tube amp and a delay pedal. To me, that is the tone
with the most power, by far.

Nobody can deny the power of using a real amp and minimal pedals. But you
also cannot deny the conveniece and flexibility of the Digitech RP
processors, to say nothing of the weight you don't have to lug around!
