[Harp-L] temporay lost mojo mormal
I want to thank everyone here who wrote such great things to help me see
this in a different light.
One other situation I neglected to mention.
As I was on stage playing one of the guys that was playing the guitar
with me took my mic from me..
I'm new to this whole thing so I found it odd but dropped it...
after a few songs I walked off the stage the guys stayed on. The lead
singer a girl that runs the open mic had gone up to them and told them
that they had to give others in the bar a turn....( the lead singer and
her husband both like me and she is the one that first asked me to come
up and play with them). As one of the player walked passed me he told
me they were kicked off the stage ??????
There is this other guy who used to play the sax's but brings his harps
( his been transfer teaching himself how to play the harp, if that makes
any sense) and he is good. I'm not saying he is a good harp player but
he has the understanding and has good sound. The last time I had played
he told me he was proud of me, and I did real well. Well any way he has
this electric guitar with him and the guy that was on stage with me that
took my mic away had a little spat. So the guy that went up with the
electric guitar played the "Blues" and the placed loved it...
It just seem to me that whole night was not fun, ego's were high. mine
was low....
But I will go back, I will practice and I will play... I have always
been asked to play... I'm sure that wont stop....
So.. thank you guys .. I have read and re-read and re-re-read all the
email over and over and over each time letting me know that everything
that happen was normal. is normal.
