Artie produced Arlen Roth's first record, which I'm on.  He was a very 
pleasant, funny guy.

He told me that there was a Japanese knock-off band that copied every note 
of the two Happy and Artie Traum records on Capitol, releasing two parallel 
albums in Japan.  Artie was most amused by the fact that they even copied 
the mistakes.
