Re: [Harp-L] Voice problem

Excellent advice Iceman!

and your Singing should be approached in the same fashion, run warm-up scales (10 minutes) singing with your TONGUE OUT this will eliminate problems with strain and hoarseness...

don't push hard when runnin' the scales, keep relaxed with good posture.....it REALLY will do the trick...

best,
Rob Paparozzi

There is a way to play the harmonica in an effortless fashion - in other
words, everything is relaxed - you breathe the harmonica rather than BLOW/DRAW.
Throat is relaxed in an open attitude of Pre-yawn. Even vibrato/tremolo is
done w/out strain. Diaphragm is never stressed. Shoulders, neck muscles relaxed,
etc.
Lips are relaxed.

If you approach the harmonica in this fashion, I don't believe there would
be any residual damage that would carry over to the vocal cords.
