Not only true but beyond dispute.
I have been playing for 41 years, and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that ALL the gear harmonica players need sounds better, is more easily available, is generally less expensive compared to previous eras, and is of better quality, in every price range from the least expensive instruments to the priciest boutique amps.
I for one am utterly delighted that world class players like Steve and Brendan are working for Suzuki and Hohner. Of course Lee Oskar has been working with Tombo for quite some time. These alliances of great players with manufacturers can only produce even better outcomes for harmonica players everywhere.
This is the golden age of gear, right here, right now. Dig, brothers and sisters. Whatever sound you have in your head, you can get it.
