Re: [Harp-L] Seydel 1847
One thing to be aware of is that the holes on Seydel harps are larger and more widely spaced than most 10-hole diatonics - Hohner, Hering, Huang, Oskar, Bushman, Suzuki, etc. You have to travel farther physically to travel the same number of holes, and for some folks this will take some time to get used to. However, the 1847 is physically about the size of a Hohner Big River - slightly larger than a Marine Band.

As far as size goes, it's closer to a Lee Oskar.

Subject: [Harp-L] Seydel 1847
Hi All
Can anybody tell me the actual size of the seydel 1847?
What I mean is, is it similar in size to the Golden Melody/Lee oskar or smaller
like the Marine Bands?
Many thanks
Gary
