[Harp-L] Thin, fat, burred.. who knows..?
You are probably right on the money J.T.
I don't know..
I should keep my big fat mouth shut, there's plenty of great knowledgable players on HarpL. and you'd be one of them.
At the end of the day, coaxing your technique out of a harmonica has never been so diverse. It's great we have so many choices and such available knowledge and products.
I actually like the 'Deluxe' [or I wouldn't have bought it] and I usually go Hohner. However whether it's 'burring' or misalignment or just plain bad luck?
I have found them to be a very 'touchy' especially if played hard... to quickly. Also I just hate the pile of 'old harps' needing refreshing growing with every year. Quite frankly I'm not a guy who likes 'dicking' around with them, too much other stuff to do.
Maybe one day?
By the way ..man..I just got a Ronette back from Mr Microphone [Dennis Oellig] what a beautiful 'kicker' he made me..lovely guy too.
I've found most of the specialists out there fantastic decent people, with the exception of one or two encounters. So whats the use of whinging and whining- Thanks for the feedback on the issue-"Good on you"-BJ
