Subject: Re: [Harp-L] 'moonshiner' movie with great harmonica soundtrack
Actually...I think Charlie looks a little like Tommy ;)
On his website..if you delve further, and click on the link to CCNow (and
then on the 'cover' of the Classic Lite Album)...one can listen to three tracks
off that CD...some extremely nice playing (to put it mildly): "Malaguena",
Lennon & McCartney's "Yesterday" and "The Roumanian Rhapsody #1- Enesco".
This is how it's done.
I wish 'we' knew him better...could meet and talk to him as a guest at SPAH?
I know I'd be thrilled...

P.S. I don't know the individual movies, but there were a 'series' of Smokey
and the Bandit movies late 1970's (?) with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed
(singer/guitarist) as his friend and I believe Jackie Gleason played the Sheriff
(his nemesis) for at least one or two of them. Tommy Morgan did play the music
for at least one of these movies...maybe all of them. They're what I was
thinking of...with moonshiners, a Sheriff and car chases.
