I use a Roland Micro Cube...
batteries run it a long time, it comes with a wall wart for power, as well
as a DIRECT OUTPUT for plugging into the PA!
When you plug in a PA direct out, it kills the internal amp and speaker, but
all the cool effects still work and you get you own volume control on
stage... which is a nice feature.
it has reverb, delay, flanger, chorus, etc. Also has some amp modelers and
gain so you can do some distortion. I use mine with a green bullet and a
sony ecm55b...
I liked it so much I got a second one.
