Hey there all you sound engineers--
Playing along with recordings (CDs, mp3s, etc.) is a great reality check. However, it doesn't sound
like reality. The disparity in volume and tone between the harp out of the amp and the music out of
the speakers makes it hard for the ear to believe that the two sources are musically unified. What
hardware/software/gear will aurally emulsify these two audios together? Rather than recording
separate tracks then blending them together, is there a way to do a "realtime" mix that would let me
hear the integrated sound as I play?
Thanks,
Ansel
