The automotive aftermarket started out just as inauspiciously - as the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association with a very few motor/gearhead inventors showing performance engine mods and several years later has evolved into the greatest auto show on the planet. You like cars.... head to SEMA in Vegas in November - you'll never forget the experience. SEMA drives innovation in the automotive industry.
While we won't ever achieve the success of SEMA, this idea, if promoted right, could draw and I think there would be a way so the $$/cost would work out. I would personally pay a ticket premium or, make a attendance decision if it included a gear show specific to harp assembled in one place and demoed by the pioneers.
