I have never really understood what the term boutique  amp means. I mean I've 
played through a bunch of amps over the years, and I  would venture to say 
that I have played through one of these, but what  determines if an amp is a 
boutique or not? Is it because it is custom made or  tweaked??
 
        Old curious guy looking for  answer to old question!!!!
