possibly.  it probably also synergistically realigns the harmonic vibration
phases with your synaptic isomorphism chakras.  or something like that.

seriously , though, i wonder what the desired effect is.  unless the magnets 
were pretty powerful, it'd seem like they'd have only minor effects, if any 
(especially since, as others have pointed out, the reeds are non-ferrous).  
magnetism is a pretty weak force compared to the air pressure effects
you create when playing.

and as a computer guy, stray magnets unnerve me the way matches unnerve 
the Scarecrow Of Oz.  i'd just as soon avoid them unless they had some 
really worthwhile purpose.
