Hi,

I've got nothing significant to add to our
collective memory of one of the really fine players
of our time, except to say that it was Paul's great
writing, gorgeous tone and delicious playing --
particularly on chromatic -- that first allowed me
to see that there were still some very original
things left to say within the framework of the
blues.

Thank you, Paul, for songs like "Why Can't You Love
Me?" 

Rest in peace, big guy.
