[Harp-L] Not so pathetic...was "pathetic"

I'm proud of the fact that I'm a harmonica player.  I always like the looks
I get when I tell somebody I play harmonica.  They often get a slightly
quizzical look on their face and then say something like,
"Oh...wow...harmonica...that's really cool."  If I told them I played
guitar, bass, or drums, I would bet I would get something like, "Uh...yeah,
whatever...who the hell doesn't?"

I submit that the harmonica is one of the greatest instruments ever
invented.  I have NO compunction about telling people I absolutely love
playing the harmonica.

PS - My line about guitar, bass, or drums in no way indicates any lack of
respect for those who play those instruments. On the contrary, I depend upon
those good people to lay down a rhythm and melody that allows me to explore
the outer reaches of...well, that allows me to get down and dirty on the
harp.
