If it is the Chicago blues sound and Big Walter attitude, you can't do any better than Jerry Portnoy's Blues MasterClass CD's.
 
It really has ALL that you need. However, it is important that you follow his protocol and really don't progress to the next lesson until you thoroughly digest the current one you are working on. Also, reading and understanding the written material in the booklet is vital.
 
The problem is that most students want it all right now and breeze through the whole course without spending the time needed.
