Sometimes the way we say things shocks others to react.  The man is mostly 
correct (and effective) on the crap factor, yet everyone must develop in 
their own sweet way.

Theory is the language of music and knowing that language helps, yet mastery 
of any instrument is pure illusion because advancement is always possible. 
If you buy that, then realize that no one can say with authority who the .6% 
is - in some circles, it may be you.

In short, it's best left alone.  All you can do is strive to be better today 
than you were yesterday and things will work themselves out.  Oh, and quit 
looking over your shoulder...it has a negative effect on your tone!
