Dave, I agree with you on that for sure!! :-)

I also believe music is an exception to that rule.  I think a person
needs to be able to control the impulses that certain emotions bring
forth.  Controlled emotion perhaps is the key.  While I am highly
emotional I am able to control it on a daily basis and I am able to
evoke certain emotions at will - like an actor/actress if you will.

Now I'm thinking about this whole thing differently. Emotion = Engine
and Thought = Steering wheel?  Makes sense to me. I guess I have
thought this all along but have been unable to succintly convey it
until now. Thanks Dave for bring up that point.
