Well, basically the problem (as 'I' see it) is that the fests get NO ADVERTISING. SPAH has gone through some lean times and the coffers had been nearly drained by a frivolous law suit. But, it seems (to me at least) that some coverage BEFORE the fest is in order. I see no reason that this should cost large quantities of money, and someone somewhere should be interested in putting a 'spot' on TV. At least a local channel. Only thing I see stopping this is that there is no sensationalism involved. Well, maybe it's all sensational to US, but when the TV can be tied up all week over some girl who went for a hike instead of her wedding, it becomes apparent that crap is what the TV people want.
