"Hi list,
I am still looking for a place to stay in DC area or
Virginia or wherever!! my plane is landing to DC on
1st of August and I also have to be in Newark on 12th
of August. Then, I am going to SPAH Convention.
I have nowhere to stay from 1st until 12th of august,
so any help appreciated. I have been checking hostels
and or they are full, or very expensives or located in
a damn nasty place!
Meanwhile, I will teach at a masterclass with Allen
Radcliff Holmes. Ask Allen for further informations
(Allen is on Harp-L)
Cheers,
Once again, any help is much appreciated!!!

.....Hi "Froggy" ....wish I could help but, like me - it just may be there
isn't anyone on the list from that particular area. What I'm thinking is
that it shouldn't be that difficult to just find a local small motel once you
leave the Airport (there might be brochures you could pick up there or maybe
a cab driver could steer you in the right direction). A lot of the smaller,
less expensive places don't show up in the major listings. If someone from
this list does know the area, if you gave a clearer idea of what your price
range is - they might be able to help narrow it down a bit better.
Additionally, do you mean Newark, New Jersey? or Newark, Delaware? I'm
assuming New Jersey, but Delaware's a lot closer to where you'll be initially so
wanted to clarify.
Bonne chance!
Elizabeth
