RE: [Harp-L] Subject: Sudden Hearing Loss - a possible help/cure?
I was not impressed with the results of high dose Vitamin E and Antioxidants
for my sudden hearing loss. Steroids helped plus decongestants like Sudafed.
Of course see an ENT specialist and a Dr. of Audiology. The use of
protective hearing devices is mandatory.
And Elizabeth those suggestions for laughter, sex, blood vessel dilation
have a basis on brain scan and research articles. Music also is good for the
brain. There is a wonderful course started at Harvard Medical School called
Mindfulness. It is research proven and is a blending of yoga and meditation.
I highly recommend it.
