We were having similar troubles, in some places.  We bought a power
conditioner from Musician's Friend, for about $130.  We plug all amps and
the P.A. into this, which gives a common ground, and helps to eliminate
buzzing from lights, etc.  it got rid of the shocks.  Bullfrog

Zapped by any vocal mic or metal part of the xlr
