Re: [Harp-L] Wm Kratt vintage chromatic....hohner????

According to my research a German by the name of Count Krafty Tubal invented
a wind instrument called a Huffinnoizen that was widely used by the German
military bands in the early 18 century. This 14 hole instrument was also
used to carry secret messages and resulted in the demise of Count Tubal when
a message to the opposing forces was sucked into his windpipe during a 4
bend in a rendition of Mozarts' V sonata. The note was hacked out during a
Heimlick manuver which saved his life only to be lost in front of a firing
squad later in the day.
