A comment on this,

I produced the 4th Harp-L compilation CD, and I too was "guilty" of taking
pre-orders and then taking much longer to produce the 3-disc set than I
anticipated.

As most of you who were around then will recall, I got roasted by everybody
and was called all sorts of stuff by folks who had pre-ordered and not
received their stuff yet.
Most people thought I had no intention of producing the discs either, but
eventually they all got done.

Please be patient with Scorcher... you will probably find that he has good
intentions and he may have bitten off more than he expected.  I know I sure
did.

Also, long delays with harp-related stuff are quite common... perhaps you
subcribe to the Harmonica Information Publication? (just kidding Winslow)

If you are super frustrated I will be happy to copy for you Harp-L IV and
send it to you for free.  Just please be cautious before publicly lambasting
someone on list...

This is just an update to all you good folks who were conned into sending a
check for $6.00 to _scorcher@xxxxxxxx (mailto:scorcher@xxxxxxx)  for a  disc
of harmonica music. After contacting him three times over a period of 9
months, and getting all kinds of stories about getting the disc, I have just
about
given up on it. I just think it is wrong to cash checks that were written
back in March for a product he listed on harp and for which he had no
intention
of producing. It has nothing to do with the $ 6.00, however I do not
appreciate  being taken. A word to the wise.........be careful who you do
business
with.
