Folk/Blues guitar and harmonica player "Spider" John Koerner was born on
this day in 1938.  Koerner was a part of the trio, Koerner, Ray & Glover
during the 1960's as well as performing as a solo artists and with other
musicians.  He usually played the harmonica on a neckbrace.

Irish Rock singer and harmonica player Van Morrison was born on this day in
1945.  Morrison fronted the band Them in the 1960's and has since that time
enjoyed a stellar career as a singer-songwriter.  He occasionally plays the
harmonica.
