I bought (3) Silvertone Deluxes (in G,C, & E) years ago just to try them
out. The G buzzed on the bottom end so I removed the bottom cover and gave
it a couple love taps on the inside to lose the chatter. The C and E harps
were fine out of the box.
I have had them for at least 4 years. My feeling is that the G & C harps are
too thin in their tone compared to Hohner MBs and 20s. I hardly ever use the
G or the C so I can't comment on their durability. However I love the E and
it has survived as my main E with heavy use. Clear and bright tone. Fast
action.
....and they're relatively cheap.
