I´ve had several silvertone deluxe and one starperformer. Ok, I´m not a pro
user, and, when I´m pretending to be one, I use Herings, Suzukis (those pro
masters are really special) and One or two Hohners, but I still have some
silvertones among my harps that are lasting forever. Including one retuned
to SBS cutaway, in G. Currently I´m using a D Silvertone, and have no qualms
about it.
I´d like also to add that I don´t easily break the reeds. Sometimes they
have to be slightly retuned, but that´s it.
Since the Huangs are not anymore avilable in Brazil, I mostly stick to my
Herings, specially the Vintage.
Best regards,
Fernando Bresslau
