Hi Durch,
I just saw Kim at Sal's R&B Club in Johnston, RI (who I've known personally
for over 25 years) and he mainly uses Hohner hand made Marine Bands
customized by Joe Filisko, and the chromatic he is using now is a custom
Hohner 280 from John Infande, which uses cover plates, reed plates,
slide/mouthpiece assembly from a pre-World War II 280, but uses a Lucite
comb hand milled by John Infande himself, and if you want to check this
chromatic out, go to http://www.infandecustomhaqrmonicas.com and these ain't
cheap at $250 a pop.
Sincerely,
Barbeque Bob Maglinte

Kim Wilson is one of my favorite blues harp players. I would be
interested to know what his diatonic and chromatic harp(s) of choice are
(Marine Band? Chromonica?).
