<<Blues harmonica player Lynwood Slim was born on this day in 1953.
Slim began playing the harmonica at the age of fifteen.  He moved to
Minnesota in the mid-1980's and took over the harmonica slot in the band
that Kim Wilson left to join the Fabulous Thunderbirds.  He's recorded
several albums of his own since that time.>>

... and he's one of the great modern white blues vocalists.
