I'll take a stab at this...I think it was his recording with the 
Animals...to quote Sonny Boy, "They want to play the blues so bad, and they 
play it soooo baaaddd"
He also recorded with the Yardbirds, but the recording I have of that does 
not contain Nine Below Zero...
