Vaudeville harmonica player George Ross was born on this day in 1916.  Ross
began his career in the 1930's as part of the Checker Harmonica band and
later also worked with the Hramonica Rascals and the Three B's.

Country comedian Junior Samples was born on this day in 1926.  Best known
for his work on the series "Hee-Haw", Samples also was an avid harmonica
player who sometimes played on the show.

Country singer, guitar and harmonica player Jimmy Dean was born on this day
in 1928.  Though he's best known these days for making sausages, he was big

Rock singer flute and harmonica player Ian Anderson was born on this day in
1947.  Anderson fronted the band Jethro Tull from the late 1960's through
