If the song was in Db and you played it on a F harmonica then that is 9th
position.
I don't think you will find much in any book about playing in 9th position
:-)

But the 4th position thing is puzzling.
A Db tune that fits with a lick that has a D in it?

Is this a Gypsy song?
Or maybe something by Thelonious Monk?
