It has always been stated that bending lowers a note at least a semi-tone. Even a blow bend on 8,9, or 10 still results in at least a semi-tone decrease. The only increase in frequency on a blow comes from an overblow. A "bend" is always down at least a semitone. You don't bend a note up, you overblow it up. Tim Moody MississippiSaxophone
