I can answer the first.  Jerry Portnoy is supposed to be playing with EC 
on this tour.  If you have not heard the album, I highly reccomend it.  
Jerry P. plays some incredibly tasteful licks behind EC's screaming 
guitar and terrific vocals and he has a couple of scorching solos as 
well.  Two Thumbs UP!!!!
