I do. And prefer it over a pot simply because my feet are always free and
my hands aren't. I use a Morley which uses an optical device rather than a
pot. This is a much cleaner approach. I have a BluesBlaster as well but
don't think it sounds as warm as my old, beat-up Astatic.

I too use an SM58 at times - always for country or a clean-sound approach -
but also for certain overdriven situations.
