I agree it was a high F# harp, although I know what you mean about not being
sure of the key of the original recording.  I don't want to think about how
many tunes I learned a half-step off back in those days because of a funky
turntable. :)  My sanity check on this one, however, was lots of FM airplay.

What's amazing to me is that I remember the key of a particular tune I haven't
heard in over 20 years (and never played much back then anyway) at all.  I
suspect it was because this tune hipped me to the fact that there even was a
harp above high F. :)  B*
